NetCost Market is a multi-location grocery chain that needed a modern loyalty program to drive repeat visits and compete with larger supermarket chains. Their existing approach — paper punch cards and discount codes — provided no customer insights, no engagement between visits, and no ability to personalize promotions. They needed a mobile-first solution that customers would actually use, with a reward system designed to increase retention and analytics to better understand customer behavior.
We built Nectar — a full loyalty platform available as a native iOS app, Android app, and PWA. Customers receive a digital loyalty card, tiered rewards, weekly challenges, and a referral program — all synced in real-time with Maestra's loyalty engine. Store staff can send targeted push notifications and track user engagement through admin tools. The platform transformed a paper-based discount system into a data-driven customer retention engine.
