Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This website is operated by WhyNotGlobal LLC, 29 Pleasant St, Marblehead, MA 01945, USA. Questions about this policy or your data: lana@wnotglobal.com.
This policy explains what we collect from visitors to this site, why, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.
2. What we collect
Through the contact form we collect only what you type in: your name, a way to reach you (email, phone or messenger handle), your project brief and message. The form has no fields for payment details or government IDs, and we will never ask for them through it.
Each submission also stores a few technical details: the date and time it was sent, the version of the consent text you agreed to, and an anonymized sender marker. Your IP address is not stored in plain form — we keep only a one-way hash used for spam protection, which cannot be turned back into the original address.
Separately, the site collects anonymous usage statistics (see "Analytics and cookies").
3. Why we use it
We use what you send through the form to reply to your inquiry, discuss your project and, if we agree to work together, deliver it. We do not add these contacts to newsletters or advertising lists. If we ever want to send you something else, we will ask first.
The technical details help us tell real inquiries from spam and record which consent text a submission was sent under.
4. Legal basis
We process your data based on your consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form before sending it. The form cannot be sent without it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing lana@wnotglobal.com.
5. Where and how long we keep it
Data is stored on servers operated by our hosting providers in the United States and the European Union. Only team members who need it for their work can access it, and the admin area of the site is password-protected.
We keep inquiries for no longer than three years after our last conversation about them, then delete them. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so within thirty days.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Our hosting and communication providers may process it solely to keep the site and email running, and only to the extent needed. A notification about a new inquiry goes to our team's work messenger; it includes the inquiry number, your name and a short summary, but not your phone number or email.
We may disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.
7. Analytics and cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how the site is used and how fast it loads. They collect aggregated, anonymous data — pages viewed, referrer, device type, country and performance metrics — and do not use cookies or track you across other websites.
8. Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent. Just email lana@wnotglobal.com with your request. We will respond within thirty days. Depending on where you live (for example, in California or the EU), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page. If you contacted us earlier, your inquiry stays linked to the consent version it was sent under.
